Regulation 4 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Chemical Agents) Regulations, 2001, S.I. No.619 of 2001 requires the determination and assessment of the risk of hazardous chemical agents.

This one-day course will be of interest to personnel who are responsible for carrying out risk assessments on chemicals.

An integral part of the course will be a practical risk assessment of hazardous materials, which will be carried out by participants and assessed by the tutor.

This course is suitable for staff in a company who may be responsible for hazard identification and risk assessment of chemicals and also those involved in chemical handling, storage and disposal.
