This one-day training course is suitable for business and regulatory managers and specialists working in companies that make, import or use chemicals (essentially every manufacturing or construction business within or supplying to the UK and EU27) who need to define their obligations under REACH and the CLP regulation.

This workshop is an excellent place to start for anyone who needs to understand more about their compliance obligations under these regulations.

The comprehensive programme introduces the key elements of UK and EU REACH and GB and EU CLP and covers the implications for manufacturers, importers and users of chemicals throughout the supply chain.
The REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals) Regulation has fundamentally changed the shape of every supply chain within the UK and EU27. REACH affects all chemical substances that you manufacture, import or use to make your products and to run your processes.

If you need to know more about REACH then the chances are that you will also be affected by the Regulation on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP). Therefore, this course also provides attendees with an overview of what this could mean for your business.

The requirements pertaining to UK and EU 27 Safety Data Sheets will also be covered.
