ISO 9001:2015 will be replaced by ISO 9001:2026 in September 2026. As the revised standard has not yet been published, this course is currently based on ISO 9001:2015. We will, however, provide guidance on the known changes and what they may mean for organisations during the course.
The revision will not involve any major changes to the requirements of the standard. It will be a moderate evolution of ISO 9001, rather than a fundamental redesign, and will not be as significant as the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015.
Organisations are expected to have three years from the publication of ISO 9001:2026 to transition their quality management systems to the revised standard.
Once the standard is published, we will provide guidance and training on transition.
This practical two-day course develops the knowledge, skills and confidence learners need to conduct effective internal audits of a Quality Management System. Learners explore the complete audit process from planning and preparation through to gathering evidence, evaluating findings and producing meaningful audit reports.
The course places strong emphasis on practical capability rather than simply learning audit theory. Through expert facilitation, realistic audit scenarios, interactive exercises and accelerated learning techniques, learners practise the skills required to conduct fair, effective and value-adding audits. The course is suitable for new internal auditors as well as existing auditors who want to refresh and recalibrate their approach.
Please note: A prior understanding of the ISO 9001 standard is strongly recommended.
